Brace yourselves for a new challenge! No, it’s not bunjee jumping or hang-gliding – it’s our 2^nd Annual Online Challenge! After the fun of last year’s event we are happy to announce that this Online Challenge will provide you with an opportunity to make a really unique creation that will showcase the talent of South African bear makers & artists.

Our theme for the 2009 Online Challenge is

Celebrate the rich diversity of our country – the various cultures, the colours, our sports and it’s heroes as well as our wildlife and nature and use any of these ideas as inspiration for your creation, at the same time, showing off Schulte mohair to its fullest advantage! This theme offers an amazing range of choices, so put your thinking caps on and get designing. (It doesn’t have to be a bear either!)

Remember, that this is a Viewer’s Choice Challenge and that the voting will be done by the general public viewing your entry on Teddytech’s website.

Rules:

1. Only Schulte mohair to be used for your creations and the code and colour to be included on your entry form.
2. If your creation is not designed by you, please acknowledge the designer.
3. Photograph your creation against a plain white background and ensure a sharp image. Submit it in pdf format.
4. Deadline for submission of photographs and entries no later than 31 March 2009
5. Public voting will commence on 1 April 2009.
6. Winners will be announced 1 May 2009.
7. The organisers reserve the right to create sections within each category, if necessary and to place entries in the relevant category.

Amateur Category – any size
Professional Category - any size

Prizes in both categories for the winners and runners-up are Schulte Mohair hampers valued at R500, R350 and R250 respectively.
